Library Committee

The Role of the Committee is to ensure the smooth working of the Library at the College, in accordance with the norms, instructions, directives, and policies of the College.

The Function of the Committee is to:

• Promote Access to Library Services and information resources for all readers.
• Provide proper documentation services and update the library collection.
• Work towards modernization and improvement of library and documentation services
• Formulate policies and procedures for the efficient use of library resources
• Adopt measures to enhance readership.
• To prepare a budget for books needed by each department and forward it to finance committee  
• To procure books in adequate numbers well in advance before the start of semester.
• To provide photocopy facilities in library at subsidized rates.
• To provide and maintain the facility of the reading room
• To provide and maintain Internet facilities in the Library.
• To manage the library with a Library Management System (Book Magic)
